Go GATORS!!

SO excited the Gators won the National Championship! We just love Tim Tebow. What a great example for Jesus Christ to today's youth! He has even worn one of our Calvary Chapel "Live Dangerously" red bracelets in games. GO GATORS!!

New Puppy

Our big news of the new year is we are getting a new puppy! His name is Ozzie (so far) and we'll be picking him up this weekend. He is a cute little pomeranian/chihuahua mix. Here are some pictures of him and the kids.

Doesn't this picture just about say it all? I just love it! This is Alan, celebrating after his daughter's wedding that we attended a few weeks ago. And here we are, celebrating a new year and a fresh start to 2009! So many possibilities... Do you have any goals set for this year? I have some in mind, but I don't write them down. I'm not sure why, I really should! College boy just left to go back to school this morning. He was home during the winter break, and boy we are going to miss him and his new sweet girlfriend. She said she would babysit for us, so we'll definitely have to take advantage of that! The other kids start school tomorrow. Back to the swing of things! It will be hard to get back into a routine again. And guess what else is new in the Russell household? We are getting a NEW PUPPY next week! He is a cute little black Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix. I need to pick up a crate and some supplies, and I'm reading books on how to raise a healthy puppy. Does anyone have any good puppy raising tips? Let me know!
