Yesterday it turned out to be a really nice day to be outside. It was a bit windy and cloudy, but it was in the low 70's so the kids wanted to go to the zoo. Well, why not? They had fun feeding the exotic birds, but most of all, Little Man could NOT pull himself away from playing "VET" to many different "sick" animals. He loves role playing, and the Brevard Zoo has a wonderful little room where kids can dress up like a vet, check over the "hurt" animals, and fix them, including putting them in a crate. We also saw the monkeys, deer, rhinos, alligators, otters, the leopard and flamingos -- but the giraffes were not out. We were going to feed them if they were out, but maybe next time!
